AvantGo post-Submit message

We recommend that you supply a brief response message so that when users without a wireless connection click on the submit button, they receive some confirmation of their action. Typically, this message is something along the lines of, "Thank you for your submission, you will receive an email shortly after your next sync." The maximum number of characters you can use for this message is about 175, and only plain text is supported.

  • Disconnected users see this message in the form of a pop-up dialogue box after they tap the submit button.

  • Wireless users also benefit from a thank-you message, but in most cases you won't want to use the exact same message for both wireless and disconnected users. Wireless users see their message in the form of a page delivered real-time after they submit.

  • Please include these messages in a text file, or email when you submit the creative to AvantGo for publishing.

  • No HTML markup or special characters are allowed (for both disconnected and wireless users).
