JEEP

The Jeep line of SUVs is one of DaimlerChrysler's premier lines.

Jeep ran an advertising campaign on AvantGo as part of a branding campaign around the new Jeep Liberty. The successful campaign ran in print, television and mobile advertising.



HYATT

There are 204 Hyatt hotels and resorts around the world. Hyatt Hotels Corporation operates 123 hotels and resorts in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. Hyatt International, through its subsidiaries, operates 81 hotels and resorts in 38 countries.

Hyatt Hotels ran an effective advertising campaign through AvantGo, targeting business travelers. As part of the campaign, Hyatt offered those interested in providing contact information a tip calculator tool.



MITSUBISHI

Mitsubishi Motors Corp is an automobile manufacturer in Japan and one of the very few firms in the world that produces a full line of automobiles.

Mitsubishi launched an advertising campaign on AvantGo around the launch of its 2002 Lancer. The goal of the campaign - to increase brand recognition and acquire new customers was accomplished.



TOYOTA

Toyota Motor Corporation is Japan's largest and the world's #4 carmaker. Its brands include such models as the Camry, Celica, Corolla, 4Runner, Echo, Land Cruiser, Sienna, the luxury Lexus line, and a full-sized pickup truck, the V-8 Tundra. Toyota also manufactures industrial vehicles.

Toyota to address three needs: to launch a branding campaign for its new SUV, the Sequoia; to provide interaction with its customers and collect leads for its new model of the SUV.

Toyota ran an interactive advertisement on AvantGo to address all three of these challenges. Toyota created three separate ads to brand the Sequoia and target mobile users who are typically early adopters. Toyota achieved excellent results and measured a significant increase in interest for the Sequoia.



ASTRAZENECA

AstraZeneca is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. It is the maker of the leading Ulcer-fighting drug, Prilosec.

AstraZeneca ran an advertising campaign using the AvantGo service around Prilosec that resulted in increased brand awareness and customer acquisition.



BAYER

Bayer AG's operations include healthcare (pharmaceuticals, consumer care products and diagnostic equipment), agricultural products and chemicals.

Bayer is deploying an AvantGo M-Business Channel, first in Germany, to give consumers a "daily dose" of health tips, recipes, upcoming health-related TV shows, regional environmental updates and product promotions. The channel is launching in Germany.



BANK OF AMERICA

Bank of America is the #3 bank in the US and is the nation's first coast-to-coast bank.

Bank of America Visa ran an interactive advertising campaign on the AvantGo mobile internet service that resulted in customer acquisition and increased brand recognition to a targeted audience.

AMERICAN AIRLINES

American Airlines (AA) is the largest air carrier in the world based on revenue passenger miles. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, AA carried more than 6.2 million passengers in the United States in 2002. A large portion of its revenues comes from business travelers who use AA’s extensive route coverage to get around the country.

To enhance its service for business travelers, AA wanted to make essential travel information such as ticketing data and flight schedules easily available as downloadable information for PDAs, while linking that information to fare promotions and other marketing campaigns. After evaluating several alternatives, they decided to create an exclusive American Airlines "channel" with iAnywhere's AvantGo mobile internet service.



COMPUSA

CompUSA Inc., America's Largest Computer Superstore retailer, is the nation's leading retailer and reseller of personal computer-related products and services. CompUSA operates approximately 224 Superstores in 84 major metropolitan markets.

CompUSA offered the first nationwide wireless coupon through AvantGo, and achieved response rates up to 10 times higher than traditional offline coupons. The digital coupon appeared on AvantGo users' handheld devices and could be saved to the device as a channel for use in any one of CompUSA's 224 retail stores across the country. AvantGo users could bring their handheld device to CompUSA and simply show the on-device coupon to the cashier to receive a discount on PDA and smartphone accessories.
